Release Notes:
Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon took the world by storm in the 1990's with deeply colored wines that marry firm structure with dark fruit flavors. Since Cabernet is a cool climate vine, Southern Chile's Curico Valley is an ideal spot to cultivate it. Andes Terra's Cabernet Reserva comes from grapes grown in their best vineyards. The wine spends 12 months aging in French oak barrels before release. This wine is another example of the amazing values to be had in Chile - a barrel aged reserve like this from elsewhere would cost $15 to $20... or more! Tasting Notes:A brilliant red colored wine with aromas of mint, lilac, berries and tobacco. On the palate, its complex plum, blackcurrant and earth flavors emphasize the soft tannins and the balance between French oak and fruit before a long stylish finish. Enjoy now to 2010 with red meat, game, stews, pasta, chicken and cheese. Country:Overview Similar Wines
