Release Notes:
This is a bigger, more robust wine with great personality. The wine aged 15 months in oak. Robert Parker praises this "high quality wine" for having "significant extract, supple tannins, and a velvety texture."
Tasting Notes:
Darker beautiful brick tile color; delicious
aromas of cedar box, red berries, plums and
chocolate. Full-bodied with delicious layers
of fruit and strong supple tannins. A very
long finish on fruit (black cherry) lasting 30
seconds. Ideal with stracotto, grilled meats, sausage, or strong cheeses. Can age 8 to 10 years.
