Sermine is the name of a small, single vineyard planted with Chardonnay. It produces a very rich wine unlike many other Italian Chardonnays. Giulio ferments the wine at a low temperature before aging the wine in both new and one-year-old oak barrels for 9 months. The end result is a refined and subtle mélange of oak and tropical fruit flavors. A delectable Chardonnay!

Tasting Notes:

This lightly-oaked Italian Chardonnay is a favorite of ours. A beautiful golden color, it offers aromas of delicious tropical fruit, apple and honeydew on the nose. It is a full-bodied wine with soft flavors of apple, pineapple and citrus and a long finish on fruit. The full body and concentration make it a great companion to grilled chicken, turkey, corn, medium-bodied fish (sea bass, snapper, tuna, etc.), and lobster.
