Our newest wine from Casa Donoso, this Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing, a great value!

Release Notes:
Evolución Sauvignon Blanc is one of the newest wines from Casa Donoso. The Evolución wines are fresh, easy-drinking drinking varietal wines, and the Sauvignon is the best. We first tasted it last summer at a local bistro during lunch with the winemaker. He had flown to the US to visit us and suggested we try it before the main course. Its crisp acidity and fruit make for a refreshing aperitif. After all, it isn’t every day that you find a hand-harvested wine for under $10.
Tasting Notes:
A pale lemon-colored wine with grass, mango, lime and other citrus fruit aromas. This very aromatic wine has typical Chilean Sauvignon flavors (zesty lime, freshly cut grass and tropical fruit). This crisp and refreshing white makes a lively aperitif or a fine accompaniment to spicy ethnic cuisine (Chinese, Tex-Mex), poultry, fish, and shrimp. Drink now to 2009.
