Release Notes:
Leclerc's newest single-vineyard Champagne. A blanc de blancs made from 100% Chardonnay from a tiny vineyard in Épernay. A blend of the 2000 and 2001 harvests. Only 3,500 bottles produced. Leclerc Briant is now grows all of its Champagnes Biodynamically (no fertilizers, and deep ploughing of the soils). Tasting Notes:A beutiful lemon colored Champagne with a rich nose of sweet, ripe melons and minerals with some yeast character. Rich and racy with classic blanc de blancs flavors of toast and citrus leading to a dry and refreshing finish. Perfect with hors d’oeuvres or as an aperitif. Winery:A small Champagne house whose focus is on quality and tradition. Records show the Leclerc family tending vines as far back as 1664. The house sold its first bottle in 1872....
