Release Notes:
This family-owned winery is one of top small producers in Ribera del Duero. Like Rioja, Ribera del Duero’s magic wines are made from the Tempranillo grape, which is called Tinto Fino in this part of Spain. Made from 100% Tempranillo, Valduero's reserva spent 20 months aging in oak.
Tasting Notes:
This Reserva has aromas of cedar, tobacco, dark fruit and mushroom, which develop into elegant layers of blackberry and blueberry fruit on the palate. Tremendously long finish on soft tannins. Serve with lamb, grilled meats, roast beef, and aged cheeses.
